Fontainebleau House

Paris

At the heart of a landscaped park adorned with monumental sculptures, Christophe Tollemer brought a light touch to this 150-square-metre, two-level addition co-designed with architect Marcel Bouquerel. Magic.

The bedroom enjoys a sweeping view of the garden through five-meter bay windows and a full bathroom. Elements and light naturally suffuse the space, mirrored by a hand-painted Gournay tapestry. The oak and louro faia fittings, silk area rugs, and quilted bedframe are offset by Van Der Straeten bedside tables and furniture by Jean-Michel Frank. Throughout the master suite, the spirit is bespoke country chic.
